Positional Accuracy Improvement

Positional Accuracy Improvement (PAI), refers to a programme of data quality improvement currently being undertaken by the Ordnance Survey. Features on 1:2500 scale Ordnance Survey maps in rural areas are currently being resurveyed to a greater absolute accuracy, resulting in small adjustments to their absolute positions.

Without applying similar transformations to your own asset data, the relative position of your assets to the underlying map base will no longer be consistent after the resurvey.
