Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service adopt OpenWINGS

OpenWINGS, the leading GIS product form Innogistic, has been adopted by Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service as a corporate information tool.

Using OpeNWINGS, Wiltshire Fire intend to integrate information from a number of disparate sources, such as fire safety (CFRMIS), incident data, 7(2)D forms (operational risk forms), FSEC, hydrants data etc.

Combining such disparate sources in the context of a comprehensive map base, will not only put valuable information at the fingertips of Wiltshire's risk analysts in a seamless environment, but provide a framework for integrating data which is held in otherwise separate systems.

This will allow analysts to ensure that data which underpins Wiltshire's operations is of the highest quality possible.
