Retail Enforcement Pilot Accreditation

Innogistic have been selected as an Accredited Supplier for the Retail Enforcement Pilot (REP) by the Better Regulation Executive (BRE).

The REP project aims to co-ordinate and streamline routine planned inspections across trading standards, environmental health, health and safety, food standards and fire. Key elements of the pilot include mobile working and inter-agency sharing of risk assessment data.

Whilst several Phase 1 pilots have already been completed, Phase 2 for which Innogistic has been shortlisted, aims to roll out a 12 month pilot to a much larger and wider range of local authorities. The objectives are to explore the opportunities for improved joined up working, as a potential precursor to a nationwide initiative.

The project provides Innogistic with an opportunity to apply expertise gained through our work on fire safety and mobile working into new market areas, in what is an exciting development in the improvement of Regulatory Enforcement."

Innogistic has now commenced detailed discussions with a number of Local Authority 'clusters', who are completing the formal procurement process prior to contract award.
