New OS MasterMap solution unveiled

FasterMap, a new interoperable software solution for managing OS MasterMap™ data, was unveiled by Innogistic at a number of events in February 2005.

Unlike other solutions for managing OS MasterMap data, the FasterMap product delivers OS MasterMap data to all mainstream GIS packages, without the need for expensive hardware or specialist skills. Fully scaleable to national coverage in under 60 Gigabytes (topographic layer), FasterMap provides an easy to use mechanism for managing and delivering OS MasterMap to any GIS.

On the unveiling of FasterMap, Dave Roberts, Managing Director of Innogistic Group commented:

FasterMap was demonstrated at the AGI Technical SIG on interoperability, and to key managers at the Ordnance Survey, where it was well received. It will be officially launched at AGI 2005 later in the year.
