John Richardson Appointed Marketing Manager for Innogistic

Innogistic, one of the UK’s leading developers of corporate and GIS software solutions, has appointed John Richardson to the new role of Marketing Manager. John joins with a broad range of marketing experience in the geospatial sector gained as a brand and product marketing manager for Britain’s national mapping agency, Ordnance Survey.

Daniel Ormsby, Innogistic’s Director of Business Development and Marketing said “the new position of Marketing Manager has been created to help develop a more powerful marketing strategy to take the company forward and to gain greater prominence for the Innogistic brand. Chief among the tasks is to help identify and nurture new opportunities for Innogistic’s wide range of corporate IT solutions.”

During his time at Ordnance Survey, John worked on several high visibility projects such as the OS MasterMap® Topo layer, OS Landplan®, 1:10 000 scale raster and the re-branding and re-launch of that most famous of paper map series, OS Landranger Map.

More recently John has returned to the commercial sector and has been working as UK Marketing Manager for the up-market Elica brand of kitchen appliances.

The fact that this is a new role for Innogistic makes it even more exciting for me and will allow me to work on developing the company’s marketing strategy, a task I will relish.
