Official launch of FasterMap at AGI 2005

FasterMap, an innovative OS MasterMap management solution designed for use with any GIS, will be officially launched by Innogistic at the AGI 2005 exhibition.

FasterMap, has been shipping since early 2005 and is already in operational use as part of Yorkshire Water's YorMap service, where it is delivering a full national coverage of OS MasterMap data to business users and consumers. However, AGI 2005 will be the first major exhibition at which FasterMap will be on public display.

Speaking of the launch, Dave Roberts, MD of Innogistic commented

FasterMap makes use of Open Geospatial Consortium Web Map Service and Web Feature Service protocols to deliver OS MasterMap data to other GIS solutions.
