Innogistic have won a regional contract to provide a fire safety software solution to the Fire and Rescue Services in the South West England.
The Community Fire Risk Management Information System (CFRMIS) was selected in a competitive tender run by Somerset Fire and Rescue Service on behalf of the seven Fire and Rescue services in the South West. The contract, which covers the Fire and Rescue services of Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Wiltshire, is the first regional procurement of a fire safety system in the UK. In addition to the South West the contract is open to all other fire and rescue services in the country.
Speaking of the contract award, Lyndsay Ware, Procurement Officer for Somerset Fire and Rescue Service commented:
