Development time of latest Skyforce product reduced by 25% thanks to Concept 4000
10 December 2006
Skyforce Avionics, a subsidiary of Honeywell International, designs and manufactures portable navigation systems for the aerospace industry. With the help of Innogistic's Concept 3000 ERP/MRPII system, Skyforce engineers have recently reduced the development time of their latest product by a staggering 25%.
As Mel White, Managing Director of Skyforce explains:
"Key to the reduction in development time, was a much improved engineering interface to the system. This allows engineers to capture data right at the start of the programme, and use the Concept system to control the Bill of Materials from initial concept, right the way through to production."
The latest developments build on other successes with Innogistic software at Skyforce - including an increase in stock accuracy from around 75% up to 98% following the introduction of Concept.
“I cannot speak too highly of the support level from Innogistic, both from their willingness to work with their customers and support them on a day to day basis” concludes White.
